How Booking.com dates reach Google Calendar

The flow uses two controlled iCal steps. RoomPilot becomes the shared availability source between the portal, direct bookings and the calendar view.

01

Copy the Booking.com feed

Copy the iCal export for the property from the Booking.com extranet.

02

Import it into RoomPilot

Assign the URL to the property and verify the import status.

03

Export the RoomPilot calendar

Copy the protected iCal export generated for the property.

04

Subscribe in Google Calendar

Add the calendar by URL. Google then refreshes it on its own schedule.

Calendar subscription rather than Google OAuth

Calendar subscription rather than Google OAuth

Google Calendar fetches the RoomPilot iCal feed on its own schedule, so changes are not immediate. iCal primarily transfers occupancy, not prices, messages, payment status or complete guest data through a native Google or Booking.com API.

  • Add the Booking.com iCal export to RoomPilot
  • Use imported occupied periods in direct-booking checks
  • Copy the RoomPilot export calendar for the property

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Will Booking.com dates appear in Google Calendar?

Yes. After importing Booking.com into RoomPilot, subscribe to the RoomPilot iCal export in Google Calendar.

Is the sync immediate?

No. RoomPilot and Google Calendar use polling intervals; iCal is not a real-time API.

Which data appears in Google Calendar?

The feed is primarily for occupancy. Dates may appear as booked or unavailable; prices, messages and complete guest data are not a reliable part of iCal.

Do I need to sign in to Google from RoomPilot?

No. Google Calendar subscribes to a protected calendar URL, so native OAuth is not required.
